With events throughout the year, including the oldest theatre awards in America – The Drama League Awards – now in its 78th year, the Drama League remains at the forefront of theatrical programming in New York City. We also serve as an educational program for the American theatre, creating opportunities to enhance and enrich the audience experience through open rehearsals, backstage tours, historic events, social gatherings, critic panels, interactive workshops, specially-designed, one-of-a-kind “behind the scenes” events, and other educational programming.  We seek to enrich the everyday theatergoing experience.  By illuminating the creative process, we seek to create vital audiences for generations to come.
