The Lyons:

Tony Award®-winner Linda Lavin (beloved as Alice Hyatt on the hit TV show “Alice”) stars as Rita Lyons, the indomitable matriarch of a dysfunctional family at a major crossroads. Her husband is dying, her son is in a dubious relationship, her daughter is barely holding it together. And worst of all, Rita can’t figure out how to redesign her living room!

 

How I Learned to Drive:

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE explores the complex relationship between Li’l Bit (Elizabeth Reaser) and her Uncle Peck (Norbert Leo Butz), as a series of driving lessons progresses from innocence to something much darker.  Told with surprising wit, Paula Vogel’s acclaimed play has returned to New York City for the first time since its world premiere 15 years ago.

 

Nice Work If You Can Get It:

Two-time Tony Award® winner Matthew Broderick (The Producers) and three-time Tony® nominee Kelli O’Hara (South Pacific) star in a madcap tale of bootleggers, chorus girls, playboys and politicians set loose in a glorious Long Island mansion in the rip-roaring 1920s.  This brand-new musical features a treasure trove of George and Ira Gershwin’s most beloved, instantly recognizable tunes set in a fresh and funny song-and-dance spectacular with a book by Tony® winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis), directed and choreographed by three-time Tony® winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes).

Carrie:

Based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel, the musical of Carrie hasn’t been seen since its legendary 1988 Broadway production. Now, the show’s original authors have joined with director Stafford Arima (Altar Boyz) and MCC Theater for a newly reworked and fully re-imagined vision of this gripping tale. Set today, in the small town of Chamberlain, Maine, Carrie features a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (screenwriter of the classic film), music by Academy Award winner Michael Gore (Fame, Terms of Endearment), and lyrics by Academy Award winner Dean Pitchford (Fame, Footloose). The cast features Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie (Next to Normal, Kiss Me Kate) as Carrie’s evangelical mother, Margaret White, and Molly Ranson (Jerusalem, August: Osage County) as the lonely, vengeful, yet fragile girl at the center of it all. Carrie White is a misfit. At school, she’s an outcast who’s bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else.
