As a non-profit organization, we understand that it is impossible for us to do our work successfully without a team of very committed members and volunteers. In 2007, we established the Drama League Backstage Crew to assist us with our mission and to lead the growing volunteer needs of our organization.
Backstage Crew members are asked to be participate in various Drama League events, support special projects, assist with big mailings, or manage DirectorFest for the Drama League Directors Project.
The Backstage Crew has become an integral part of The Drama League and assists the organization as it continues to progress and change. We understand that the growth of The Drama League is dependent on its staff, the Board, and our volunteer force.
At the beginning of each season, The Drama League holds a kick-off party for the Backstage Crew. Show tickets are offered throughout the year. And after the Annual Awards Luncheon, the Drama League thanks all of its volunteers at a special “thank you” celebration.
