Directors Project: Summer Blog

June 24th, 2010

The Summer Directors are the artistic leaders of the Hangar’s Lab Company, a non-Equity company comprised of young professionals in acting, design, directing, and stage management. Working with the support and guidance of Hangar artistic staff, the directors are responsible for selecting, designing, casting and producing the entire Lab Company season.

This year also marks the first year of our Musical Theatre Fellowship with the Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Each summer Barrington Stage Company develops several new musicals in a musical theatre lab run by William Finn (of Falsettos fame).  This summer our new fellow will work on the development of two new musicals.
