Among the many highlights of the 2022 Awards Ceremony will be the historic inclusion of two new competitive awards:

Outstanding Direction of a Play
Outstanding Direction of a Musical.

Keeping in the tradition of honoring the outstanding accomplishments of the theatrical community as they have since 1935, Drama League Awards will be bestowed in the following competitive categories, in addition to the new directing categories:

Distinguished Performance Award
Outstanding Production of a Play
Outstanding Production of a Musical
Outstanding Revival of a Play 
Outstanding Revival of a Musical

Broadway and Off-Broadway (non-virtual only) productions in previews between March 16, 2021 and April 23, 2022 were eligible for the 2022 Drama League Awards.

COVID-19 Safety Information

All guests must be fully vaccinated (we encourage at least one booster) and will be required to show proof of vaccination before entering the venue.

As New York City has moved to a “high” COVID-19 alert level, we are asking that all attendees take a COVID test (at home is fine) within 24 hours of the event (Thursday or Friday).

Masks are strongly encouraged when not seated or actively eating.
